The winners of the 12th edition were announced on the 14 June 2013, and Philias had the great honour to get a distinction for its platform Humagora.Humagora was created in 2006 to foster partnerships between companies and non-for-profit organisations.   • The consultation period of the EU's initiative on "responsible sourcing of minerals originating from conflict-affected and high-risk areas" is drawing to a close.  All interested parties are invited to share their views by 26 June 2013.The potential policy would address the supply of minerals coming from war zones and areas of instability or unrest, among others.   • ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih has ranked second in a league table of Ukraine’s best companies for corporate social responsibility.The table, published on 27 May by the magazine GVardia, features ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih for the sixth year running and marks a step-up from 2012 where it secured fourth place.Featured companies are given a score out of 100 which is based upon factors such as transparency, stakeholder engagement and activity in the CSR community.   • Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft is donating €1 million to the Auschwitz International Youth Meeting Center.
